BRACCIANO

Bracciano a circa 40 km da Roma e 20 km da Cerveteri è una cittadina famosa per il Castello Odescalchi, uno dei più bellid'europa, meta di lussuosi matrimoni vip internazionali e per l'ononimo lago, ricco di spiagge e circoli velici dove poter noleggiare barche a vela e windsurf. 
Situata su un’altura del lago di Bracciano, ha un centro storico, tardomedievale, ben conservato e dominato dall’imponente castello Orsini-Odescalchi, le due famiglie cui è legato il periodo storico (XV-XVIII secolo) di maggior splendore di Bracciano. Fatto costruire dagli Orsini nella seconda metà del Quattrocento, il castello è un edificio pentagonale con massicci torrioni merlati uniti da un cammino di ronda da cui si gode un ampio panorama sul lago.
Il castello è oggi un luogo di ricevimenti e ospita anche un museo.  Famosi i matrimoni ivi svoltisi di Isabella Rosselini e Martin Scorzese, nel 1979 e in tempi più recenti, quello Tom Cruise e Katie Holmes', Eros Ramazzotti e Michelle Hunzicker, Petra Ecclestone e James Stunt, Alexandra Suvari e Simone Sestito, Christiane Amanpour e James Rubin.

Bracciano, near Rome and Cerveteri, is located on the southern shore of Bracciano's Lake. The Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano reigns majestically as one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Europe. It was built in the 15th century, and combines the functions of a military defence structure and a civilian residence of the feudal lords of the period, the Orsini and Borgia, both papal families.

As one of the largest and best-maintained castles in Italy, it also houses a museum; as a centre of cultural events, the Castello has hosted several high profile weddings.
It once hosted princes but is used nowadays for conventions, gala dinners and receptions for 900 guests.

The castle has also hosted several celebrities' weddings. Worth mentioning: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in November 2006.
Also, CNN international correspondent Christiane Amanpour and the former U.S. State Department spokesman James Rubin held their 1998 wedding reception there, attended by 180 guests including the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. That same year, Italian pop megastar Eros Ramazzotti tied the knot with model Michelle Hunzicker held their reception at the castle.
On 2010 Mena Alexandra Süvari, american actress, married the Italian-Canadian concert promoter Simone Sestito and held their reception in the Odescalchi castle.
Another epic wedding as well,  in 2011.  Petra Ecclestone, the glamorous daughter of billionaire Formula One tycoon Bernie Ecclestone, and businessman James Stunt also tied the knot in this wonderful castle.
In the past 1979 also Martin Scorsese and Isabella Rossellini, married  in this incredible location.
